Pictures of small shop facades in Dubai.

 

The lighting and condensed style of these tiny shops give them a unique atmosphere, that I chose to capture with a 50mm portrait lens – able to frame the entire shop due to its minimal width.

 

The method reflects their intimate and constricted layout, in contradiction of a town where the “bigger is better” and “less is more” mottos apply.
